<li>Explain any skill steps or additional skills which may need to be altered or added to perform the skill in these different environments/situations.</li>

<li>Read <a href="https://www.boystownpress.org/soda-pop-head/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Soda Pop Head</a> by Julia Cook. Discuss lessons learned.</li>
<li>WRITE OR DRAW: What shakes up your fizz? What releases your fizz? Come up with at least 3 ideas.</li>

<li>Explain any behavioral steps or additional skills which may need to be altered or added to perform the skill in different environments/situations.</li>
<li>Read <a href="https://www.boystownpress.org/priscilla-the-perfect-storm/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Priscilla &amp; the Perfect Storm </a>by Stephie McCumbee. Discuss how Priscilla manages her emotions in the story.</li>
<li>HANDS-ON ACTIVITY: Make a calm-down (stress) bottle using glitter. Shake the bottle and watch the glitter settle down.</li>
<li>Use THINK-PAIR-SHARE. Partners will discuss and role-play how to use self-control (anger control) strategies using the following prompt: Based on discussions this week, what coping skill will you use to calm yourself down?</li>
</ul>

Thursday

<li>Review the steps of the skill as well as the reasons for using it.</li>
<li>Share examples of how students have or can use the skill in their community.</li>
<li>Engage students in discussions about how using the skill has helped them, or in what situations it was difficult.</li>
<li>Encourage students to think about how the skill might be used in a future job/career, hobby or other area of interest.</li>
