<li>Read <a href="https://www.boystownpress.org/teamwork-isn-t-my-thing-and-i-don-t-like-to-share-/" title="" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TEAMWORK Isn't My Thing, and I Don't Like to SHARE!</a> by Julia Cook. Discuss what RJ learned. Why is teamwork important when we work with others?</li>
<li>Additional activities to support skill development: DOWNLOADABLE LEARNING GUIDE: <a href="https://www.boystownpress.org/downloadable-learning-guide-teamwork-isnt-my-thing-and-i-dont-like-to-share/" title="" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TEAMWORK Isn't My Thing, and I Don't Like to SHARE!</a> Share examples you&rsquo;ve witnessed in your classroom of students using the skill.</li>
<li>Identify people, areas and/or situations where students might use the skill at school (i.e., playground, cafeteria, library/media center, health office, counseling office, with substitute teacher, etc.)</li>
<li>Identify a classroom or school project and ask students to work together to complete the task.</li>

Tuesday

<li>Review the steps of the skill as well as the reasons for using it.</li>
<li>Share examples you&rsquo;ve witnessed around school of students using the skill.</li>
<li>Identify people, areas and/or situations where students might use the skill at home or with other significant adults or peers (teammates, neighborhood friends, family members/caregivers, etc.).</li>
<li>Explain any behavioral steps or additional skills which may need to be altered or added to demonstrate working with others in those different environments/situations.</li>
<li>ALTERNATE ACTIVITY: Read <a href="https://www.boystownpress.org/its-my-way-or-the-highway/" title="" target="_blank" rel="noopener">It&rsquo;s My Way or the Highway</a> by Julia Cook and discuss how the story applies to the skill of Working with Others.</li>
<li>Write in SEL Journals about a time when students had to work with others to complete a task. Have them describe what went well and what was challenging.</li>
</ul>

Wednesday

<li>Review the steps of the skill as well as the reasons for using it.</li>
<li>Ask students to share examples of how they have used the skill at home or with other adults/peers.</li>
<li>Identify people, areas and/or situations (store, restaurant, public event, etc.) where students might use the skill.</li>
<li>Explain any behavioral steps or additional skills which may need to be altered or added to perform the skill of Working with Others in those different environments/situations.</li>
<li>Read <a href="https://www.boystownpress.org/everyone-s-contributions-count/" title="" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Everyone's Contributions Count</a> by Bryan Smith. Lead a discussion about the best and worst strategies for getting others to work together.</li>
